Description
This course is designed to cover the theory side of the Care Certificate.
You complete one standard at a time, after each standard there is a Workbook, which needs to be downloaded and fully answered and then re-uploaded back into your account. This will then be marked by one of our qualified Care Assessors, if all questions are correct then the Workbook will be marked Approved. If any questions are requiring an expanded explanation, feedback will be sent via email and once you have correctly completed these and re-uploaded the workbook, the qualified Care Assessor will check and if correct your Workbook will be marked Approved.
Once your Workbook has been approved this will then allow you to gain access to the next Standard.
On Standard 12 you are required to upload a relevant and up to date Basic Life Support certificate or equivalent, before you are able to gain access to Standard 13. Please note this Care Certificate course does not include the Basic Life Support Certificate, it is the responsibility of the individual or their employer to find and pay a training company who delivers Basic Life Support (first aid). This course only requires the proof of the certificate.
Once all of the Theory Standards have been completed, your company are required to complete the workplace prescribed assessment observations to fully meet the Care Certificate Criteria.
